Northern Flyer Designs & Promotions
 is a 1-person company located in lovely downtown Tara on County Road 10 in Bruce County. Ken does commissioned drawings in mixed media/pencils & chalk, pastels of private homes, pets, cartoons & company promotional items. The promotional items may then be applied to T-shirts, Sweat-shirts, Mugs, Notecards, etc. I also take photos & apply to broadcloth for quilting patterns. Ken’s own work, mostly historical drawings may be purchased as original artwork or # prints matted & framed. Ken was born in March of 1951 to Bernie and Lindsay Thornburn of Port Elgin. Lindsay was the local photographer and a High School teacher.

Ken moved to Tara, ON  August 1991 and opened Northern flyer Designs & Promotions
